iLike was acquired by MySpace as part of an effort to revive the MySpace brand. While there, I was part of a team that launched an events platform and mobile application that allowed artists to manage and promote their concerts, and fans to discover shows.
Took iLike from launch to over 60 million users in two years, and disrupted the music industry through a multi-platform application that allowed fans and musicians to interact. Managed UX and growth strategy for apps on the web, Facebook, iTunes, and Open Social, and later built a $3 million/year ad business from the ground up. My claims-to-fame include massively successful marketing campaigns for artists like Lady Antebellum, Jason Mraz, and Keith Urban, culminating in a first-of-its-kind ad campaign for U2’s world tour, driving 312,000 ticket sales in two days.
